Casey is the founder of PricePoint. With a background in finance and enormous experience reviewing vendor contracts across many industries, he brings an inside knowledge of the corporate service contract world that can transform your company’s negotiating power. When he isn’t closing deals and cutting costs, he’s heading to the woods to recharge with some camping and relaxation.
When it comes to keeping vendors honest, Casey Price means business.
It started in childhood. Growing up, Casey helped his parents run the flooring company they built from scratch. His early exposure to their entrepreneurial highs and lows made Casey fascinated with how business works. He went on to learn everything he could about as many different industries, companies, and business models as he could find.
What he discovered changed the course of his career.
By the time Casey was 25, he had sat down with more than 100 CEOs and CFOs of Fortune-ranked companies, from fitness centers to financial institutions to restaurant chains. He studied their operations. He scoured their profit and loss statements. Still hungry for more, he even scrutinized their invoices.
That’s when things got interesting.
“It was shocking,” Casey recalls. “Once I had looked at about 10 different companies, and compared 10 different sets of credit card bills and phone bills, I started figuring things out. Vendors were charging companies different prices.”
It’s about honesty.
Worst of all, they were being sneaky about it, hiding behind long invoices and being notoriously difficult to get in touch with. That got Casey fired up. Now, he devotes his career to putting business owners back in control, and keeping vendors honest.
A day in the PricePoint life.
“When I go sit down with a client at their desk, they have all these papers stacked up, they’re wearing four or five different hats. They clearly don’t have time to negotiate contracts or review invoices.
“The best part of my job is coming back to that same desk and saying, ‘This is what I found, this is how much you can save’ — and seeing how excited they get about it.
That’s what keeps me coming back. Showing the people the results.”
